Myanmar Online Visa Set To Launch In February

Myanmar online visa (e-visa) is scheduled to introduce in February, said an official from Ministry of Hotel & Tourism. The exact date will be announced after a testing period which is due in the first week of February.

Online visa system could have a huge impact over Myanmar tourism. Countries without having a Myanmar embassy will benefit most. The system is considered way overdue, spoke an official from Myanmar tourism and hotel association. If implemented, the online visa system will be much better and more effective than complicated pre-arrange on arrival visa.
