After numerous temples, pagodas, people, and bus rides, a visit to a beach is refreshing. Chaungtha beach is conveniently located and more affordable than Ngwe Saung and Ngapali beaches. Local sea food such as crab, shrimp, lobsters, fish, with a combination of your favorite drinks at the seaside will make a perfect Myanmar travel experience. It is a 5-hours drive from Yangon, and a favorite beach resort for Yangonites as well. Nearby fishing villages and mangroves are popular with tourists.
