Thambula Temple

The next temple north of the Minnanthu village is Thambula. It is thought to have been built by Queen Thambula, wife of King Uzana. This later style temple is also well lit, making it easy to see the Chinese-influenced murals - note the Chinese-looking Buddhas, the ladies with Chinese hair styles and eyes, and the use of yellow.
