Sein Nyet Sister Temples

Just south of the Soemingyi are the Sister Temples. The elder sister, Sein Nyet Ama, built the temple in the 12th century. It is a typical square temple with entrances on all four sides, the east entrance being the main one. There are remnants of ornate stucco work. The younger sister, Sein Nyet Nyima, built the stupa, complete with guardian lions on the corners.
